The children of NPC are truly an important part of our church family. That is why any time spent with our children is a precious opportunity to teach our children the Bible and how to live as Christians in their adult lives.

As children grow, it is vital that they develop friendships with peers who are also following Christ. Getting them involved with Children’s Ministry now enables them to begin those relationships at an early age. We encourage parents to participate in this journey along with their children, developing a relationship in following Christ together.

We have a very dedicated and large staff serving our Children's Ministry.

·         Our annual Vacation Bible School is successful due to the 130 volunteers it takes to minister to 300 children attending VBS

Gospel Light for 3's, 4's and Kindergarten    Gospel Light – The Bible. Pure and Simple. Children learn to recognize that the Bible is God’s Word and that God loves and cares for us. SUNDAY SCHOOL OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE!

Being a Sunday school teacher is SO much more rewarding than you’d ever believe.

If you have concerns about teaching Sunday school....erase them. Children do not care about your age or how cool you are. You do not need a degree in early childhood education, theology - or any teaching for that matter. Kids need someone that cares about them and knows them (it’s amazing how attached you get). Someone they can count on to help them and encourage them. Most of all they need a teacher that simply has the desire to teach them about God. Having this desire alone makes you well on your way to being an effective Sunday school teacher. With a little prayer, practice and preparation - you’ll have a Sunday school class that will make a difference in a lot of children’s lives.
