Our Deacons are focused on specific areas of Support, Caring, Love, and Service. Much of their ministry happens on Sunday mornings at NPC. The 7 teams which the Deacons coordinate and lead are:

WELCOMING & USHERING TEAM

The Welcoming & Ushering Team works closely with the Equipping Ministry Team as we welcome and receive friends and visitors to NPC for Sunday worship, other special worship and musical events!

HOMEBOUND VISITORS TEAM

Our deacons spend time with our homebound members, talking, laughing, crying... being a friend. At special times of the year the Homebound Team delivers special gifts of flowers and cookies to our elderly.

FLOWER DELIVERY TEAM

Sunday sanctuary flowers are delivered by the Deacons to our homebound and hospitalized, while providing a friendly visit on behalf of the church.

SUNDAY FELLOWSHIP TEAM

In Horton Hall the Deacons offer the hospitality of refreshment and conversation after our Sunday morning worship services.

MEDIA MINISTRY TEAM

The Media Team is currently under construction!

CARING TEAM

The Caring Team meets the practical needs of a family or individual in a difficult time of transition. The team coordinates meals to be prepared and delivered, and transportation to Sunday worship or the doctor's office.

HOSPITALITY TEAM

Our Deacons extends care and compassion to our church families at times of grief and loss. The team is host to all memorial service receptions, providing refreshments, comfort and space for the bereaved.
