Mission Trip to Kenya and Tanzania
John and Marilyn Parker have arrived safely in Kenya for the summer months, for their eighth year serving the people of Africa. They met Evalyn Wakhusama and her husband Sam for dinner recently.
John and Marilyn will be leading the NPC group that leaves here on June 21st and will spend two weeks visiting the five projects that NPC Supports in East Africa. The group will visit Presbyterian University of East Africa in Kikuyu (just outside Nairobi), Nambale Magnet School in Western Kenya (near the border of Uganda), City of Hope (just over the border in Tanzania), Rift Valley Academy in Kijabe and the Life Ministry Headquarters in Nairobi.
They will also meet with the four students at PUEA who have received scholarships from NPC, have fun with the 234 children at Nambale Magnet School and the 110 children in City of Hope, visit with Bob and Jennifer Chedester and their five children at RVA, and learn about Life Ministry (Campus Crusade here) from evangelists, Caroline and Paul Maina.
The group will also have some time to be tourists. They will attend a Sunday service at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church in Nairobi, feed the giraffes at the Giraffe Centre in Karen, see the wildebeest in Masai Mara, learn all about how tea is grown and processed for export – and check out the shops for gifts to bring back to the USA!
On Sunday, May 5, Tom Becker, NPC supported missionary to the Roma people of the Czech Republic visited NPC and gave a Moment for Mission at all services. Tom also spent time with the children, teaching them about the Roma, the work of a missionary and the importance of prayer.

July 7 - Pivot Ministries Choir will be worshiping with us on the Beach!
July 28 - Hanna Massad, NPC supported missionary to Gaza and Jordan will be preaching at 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. services.
Kids Mission Challenge for the Summer
Look on our Church website under NPC Kids to find the NPC Mission Thank you card project for our missionaries. Create and decorate the card at home and then return to the Church office to be mailed to the missionaries! This will be a great encouragement to them.
