NPC Tot Drop is a state-licensed (# 16373) daycare/flexible childcare service open to Darien families and families in surrounding communities. We offer full-time, part-time and as-needed care for participating families by professional care providers. We welcome children from 6 months to 4 years of age; our licensing allows for even younger children on a case by case basis. Our program operates year round with occasional closures for holidays and yearly maintenance.

We follow the Darien Public Schools for weather-related closings or emergencies. When Darien schools are closed for snow, ice, etc., Tot Drop is also closed. If Darien schools have a delayed opening, Tot Drop opens at 9:30am. Listen to a Connecticut radio station such as FM: WEBE 108 or STAR 99.9 or AM: WSTC 1400, WNLK 1350, WGCH 1490 to get timely information about school closings.

Tot Drop has a rolling admission policy and welcome inquiries and registration year round. Reservations are required in order to maintain compliance with state regulations, and are granted on a first come, first serve basis.

January 16 - Martin Luther King Jr. Day

February 20 - Presidents' Day
April 6 - Good Friday
May 28 - Memorial Day
July 2-6 - Closed for maintenance

September 3 - Labor Day
October 8 - Columbus Day
November 21 - Wednesday before Thanksgiving - early closing at 12 noon
November 22 - Thanksgiving

November 23 - Friday after Thanksgiving
December 21 (closing at 12 noon)
December 22 - January 1, 2013 Closed for maintenance - reopens January 2, 2013

Please register your children by completing the necessary Registration Form, Discipline Policy and have your pediatrician complete the Connecticut Health Assessment Form. All forms can be downloaded here.

The church also provides free childcare service for families that worship at Noroton Presbyterian Church or for family members participating in Bible Studies and other ministry activities. Registration and advance notice is required.
