If you are a mother, you may not look in the mirror every day and see yourself as having a great influence on the world, but you do! No one has a greater impact on the home than a mother, and that impact can be defeatingly negative or powerfully positive…
 
WINTER & SPRING: The Power of Love: Seeing Your Child Through God’s Eyes.
These sessions feature several experts, exploring ways to enrich and enjoy the bond between you and your child.
 

SPECIAL GUEST SPEAKERS will visit us throughout the year to address various aspects of life as a mother.

 We will be working through "The Rest of God" by Mark Buchanan. 
 
Please join us in the Parlor 6:15-7:15 a.m. weekly.  It’s early, but consider joining us for a time of saturation in the Word. We always have coffee, and the circle of women is filled with insight, support and prayer!

A typical morning includes worship, teaching, fellowship and small groups. Each session consists of music, prayer, study and lively sharing. Please come – bring a Bible and a friend.

If you haven’t tried Tuesday morning Bible study yet, why not make this your year??? 

We’re excited to be spending time in the book of Acts.  We worship in song and receive teaching from one of our leaders.  Then, we break off into small groups to apply what we’ve learned to our lives.

Pastor Brandi Drake shares the leadership with lay leaders.

Child-care is provided 9:00-11:30 a.m. based upon availability.

Moms of Young Adults Book Group
 
We meet two Tuesdays each month in NPC's SHAC from 11:30am-1:00pm.

We will study Nancy Ortberg's book, Looking for God: An Unexpected Journey Through Tattoos, Tofu & Pronouns.   A typical meeting includes time for fellowship, book discussion and prayer for our young adult children (and their parents!!).  For questions and sign-ups, please call the leaders: Linda Russell (203) 536-6110 or Claudia Roux (203) 253-6795.
Moms of Teens
 
Thursdays, 12:00-1:15 pm (brown bag lunch)  in the SHAC at NPC led by Seana Turner  and  Lisa Isherwood.
 
 
We will be reading The Five Love Languages of Teenagers: The secret to Loving Teens Effectively.  The books will be available for purchase at Seana's home or in the main office of the church.  The cost is $11.00 each and checks should be made payable to NPC, note subject: Moms of Teens.
